The Illinois Attorney General’s Charitable Trust Bureau will update community leaders and not-for-profit organizations on current charitable registration requirements under the Charitable Trust Act and Solicitation for Charity Act. The presentation will focus particularly on issues facing smaller not-for-profit organizations or those with volunteer boards. Information about best practices will also be shared. Individuals interested in starting a not-for-profit organization are welcome to attend.
