Special Interest Classes
Are you aware of the Special Interest Classes offered through the City of Buckeye Community Services Department? This winter season you can register yourself or family member for a Fitness, S.T.E.A.M., CPR, Dance, Gymnastic, Martial Arts, Tennis, Toddler Sports, or Essential Oil program! This would be a great chance for you or family member to start a hobby or build and enhance a skill.
Scholarships are available to residents who do not have the financial means to participate in fee based recreation programs.
Got a talent you’d like to share? We are looking for skilled instructors in art, music, preschool and other varieties of classes. Liability insurance, background checks, and CPR / First Aid certification may be required.
Pre-registration is required for most courses. All courses must meet a minimum number of participants to prevent cancellation and some courses have limited space available. If a class is cancelled for any reason, full refunds will be issued.
Registrations are accepted online at www.buckeyeaz.gov/recreation or at the Dr. Saide Recreation Center located at 1003 E Eason AVE. Center is open Monday through Friday 9 AM – 7 PM. For additional information call (623) 349-6350 or email recreation@buckeyeaz.gov.
