The event will also include a Wine & Spirit Pull, sponsored by Mayer Networks. During the Social Hour, guests are encouraged to buy a cork for $15 or two for $25 which will have a corresponding number to one of the bottles of wine or spirits on hand. Your business participation by donating a wine or spirit valued at $20 or more to be used in the Wine & Spirit Pull would be very much appreciated. A Silent Auction (sponsored by Heartland Regional Medical Center) will also be held during the Social Hour. For a list of items we have available for the Silent Auction so far, click here. Also during the Social Hour, a Diamond Drop, sponsored by Diamond Designs, will be held. For $10, a participant at the Annual Dinner will receive an ice cube that may contain one many fabulous pieces of jewelry. The proceeds from the Diamond Drop at the Marion Chamber’s annual dinner go to the Poshard Foundation for Abused Children. The mission of the Poshard Foundation is to help abused, neglected, and abandoned children in Southern Illinois. The event will include a Photo Stage, sponsored by Ike FamilyDealerships, where all participants are welcome to get their photo taken by a professional photographer at no cost. The photos will be emailed to participants after the event concludes.
Entertainment (sponsored by Clearwave Communications) will include performances by Brock Bertling - a local pianist, and Artstarts. For more information about the entertainment lineup, click here.
Dinner will begin around 6:30 p.m. The dinner will include romaine and baby greens salad with feta cheese, pine nuts, craisins and raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing, roast beef, garlic rub chicken breasts, twice baked potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and desserts, including your choice of cheesecakes or gourmet dessert bars (sponsored by South Porte Bank) and tea, water and coffee (sponsored by Krispy Kreme).

The Annual Dinner Committee would like to honor those we have lost in the past year who have contributed to the Marion Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Marion area. The tribute will be played during the Annual Dinner. Please download and complete this form or fill out this online form about anyone who has contributed to the Marion Chamber of Commerce and/or the Greater Marion area who has passed away since the 2016. You may also call the Marion Chamber at 997.6311 or email email@example.com to submit someone who has passed for the In Memoriam. Submissions made prior to January 4, 2018, will be included in the In Memoriam tribute played during the 97th annual Marion Chamber of Commerce Auction & Awards Banquet.
The Award Presentations will be video taped in HD and available on DVD for purchase after the event concludes. The video will also be emailed to everyone in the Chamber's email list after the video is complete. Videography is sponsored by SIU Credit Union.
A professional photographer will be taking photos throughout the event. The photography is sponsored by Golden Eagle Distributing.
A program for the event will be given to each guests and contains points of history for the Marion Chamber as well as past winners of the awards and biographies for all finalists for the awards. The program is sponsored by Commercial Janitorial Services.
Tickets are $60 per guest or $400 for a corporate table that seats 8 (registration sponsored by Futiva). The venue is sponsored by The Pavilion.
The event is black tie optional and seating is assigned (hospitality sponsored by VisitSI). Marion High School FBLA volunteers (sponsored by Clearwave Communications) will be on hand to escort guests to their seats. Volunteers from John A. Logan College will also be on hand to help with the Coat Check, sponsored by Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois.
