Water is a precious resource in Colorado and poses many challenges to our communities. If you would like to learn more about how the Castle Pines North Metro District is dealing with these challenges, you don't want to miss this presentation.


Co-hosted with the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce and featuring water resource expert Bruce Lytle, P.E., this presentation will provide an overview of decades-long water challenges in Douglas County and share the ways in which CPNMD is working to overcome them in the Castle Pines community.

Light appetizers, beer and wine served at 6 p.m., presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.

Free full SAT test offered by Class 101!

Sign up for an opportunity for your student to take a full SAT test at no cost. Students will gain an understanding of the material covered on the SAT and what the testing experience is like. Students can also receive their test scores and a trend analysis at no cost by individual appointment.

Get a leg up on your new year's resolutions and join the Castle Pines Run Club!

Are you a runner hoping to meet other runners in Castle Pines? Then join the Castle Pines Run Club! The club will meet at the Plum Creek Trailhead (near The Meadows) at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday. Runs are 3-5 miles long and runners of all abilities are welcome. Meet at Rockyard Brewery for a post-run social!

Timber Trail 3rd graders research and rally to help children with autism!

Enterprising 3rd graders from Timber Trail Elementary conducted research on playground equipment that is better suited for children with autism and presented their case and findings to members and staff of Castle Pines Metro District and the Castle PinesParks Authority in October. Based on the 3rd graders' findings, the two organizations worked together and donated money and time to purchase and install new playground equipment at Coyote Ridge Park in December. The Tiber Trail PTO also contributed funds. Read all about it in the January issue of The Connection!
