Early Learning Coalition Of Orange County

The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County (ELCOC), based in Orlando, Florida, is dedicated to ensuring that every child in the community has access to high-quality early education. Our mission is to provide equal educational opportunities by supporting those who help children grow and develop. We connect families to financial aid, parenting skills training, early learning, child care locator assistance, and other essential services. Additionally, we offer coaching, training, and resources to child care and early learning providers throughout the county to maintain the highest standards of child care at all our providers' locations.

Our vision is for every child in Orange County to enter kindergarten with the foundation necessary to reach their full potential. To achieve this, we administer programs such as Florida's School Readiness Program, offering eligible low-income working families support and financial assistance for quality child care and early education. We also coordinate Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Program, which is free for all four-year-olds residing in the state, preparing them academically, emotionally, and socially for their first important school experience.
