The Same House
The Same House, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is a community-driven movement dedicated to addressing contemporary social and economic challenges. Inspired by the values of the Beloved Community and the uplifting words of Congressman Lewis, our mission is to unite people from all backgrounds. We aim to bridge divides, foster compassion, and collectively tackle our communities' most pressing needs, focusing on economic opportunity and social connection.
Our work is concentrated in three key areas: Programs, Experiences, and Storytelling. Through our Programs, we advance social connection and economic opportunity by establishing grant-making initiatives, fellowships, and partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations. Our Experiences bring communities together through impactful events and grassroots activities, designed to inspire compassion and unity while raising funds to support our mission.
Storytelling is at the heart of our efforts to ignite social action. By sharing compelling media and narratives that showcase the power of collective community service, we aim to inspire and mobilize others to join us in creating a more connected and equitable society.
