About Martinez Legal Firm
Angel Martinez is an experienced business and transactional lawyer with more than 25 years in the legal profession both in his native Venezuela and here in the U.S. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Mr. Martinez originally obtained his law degree in Caracas in 1989.
Initially starting out as a clerk in a court in Caracas, Mr. Martinez continued into private practice handling negotiations, contracts, corporate law, estate planning, and commercial litigation matters for his clients. Mr. Martinez eventually founded and became managing partner of Martinez, Urdaneta & Associates, a successful boutique law firm based in Caracas, Venezuela.
Eventually, in 2014 Mr. Martinez moved to South Florida with his family. In order to continue his legal practice in the U.S., Mr. Martinez obtained a Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, and being an accredited member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Martinez is licensed to practice law in both jurisdictions, Florida and Venezuela.
