Adopting a friend
All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire. ACHS has the right to reject any application. The cost to
adopt a dog is $120.00. The cost to adopt a cat is $50.00 if the cat is spayed/neutered or $25.00 with a $50 deposit if still intact. The
deposit is refundable upon proof of spay/neuter. If the cat or dog is still intact, the adopter agrees to have the animal spayed/neutered
within 30 days, if a kitten or puppy are to young then you will have 90 days.
An adoption application can be filled out on line or in person. For further information, please call the shelter during business hours.
When coming to pick up your new adopted pet please bring your own collar and leash for dogs or your own cat carrier for cats. All dogs
and cats you currently own must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccination to be approved to adopt.
