About Greater Albuquerque Housing Partnership
Our Story
The Greater Albuquerque Housing Partnership (GAHP) is a non-profit Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) dedicated to building a better Albuquerque. Since 1993, GAHP has been highly successful in bringing the benefits of quality affordable, and market-rate housing to more Albuquerque families.
In 1996, GAHP developed its first Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development unit, Bridgeport Apartments. From 1996 to 2008, the organization developed single-family homes and townhomes and delivered first-time homebuyer programs to help clients repair their credit and find down-payment assistance to purchase their first home.
