Rio Grande Food Project

About Rio Grande Food Project

Rio Grande Food Project (RGFP) is the largest food pantry on Albuquerque’s west side. Located on Coors, just south of Interstate 40 in a neighborhood where many people struggle to make ends meet. At Rio Grande Food Project, we believe that all people should have access to enough quality food to maintain good health.

Our mission is to alleviate hunger and food insecurity in Albuquerque directly by providing emergency food aid in the form of free groceries. We also address food insecurity and hunger indirectly by facilitating access to programs that address the causes and effects of hunger and food insecurity.
