Homewise is a local non-profit that removes barriers to homeownership through offering low down payments, making closing costs part of our loans, and removing monthly mortgage insurance.
HOW OUR PROCESS WORKS
Whether you're looking to buy your first home or your fifth home, our process is simple! First you meet with a free financial coach who creates a plan that will help you get pre-qualified for a mortgage through us. Once you are pre-qualified, you'll work with one of our salary-based realtors to find a home that is in your budget. When you close on your loan, you'll make all of your payments to us for the life of the loan.
SERVICES FOR EXISTING HOMEOWNERS
If you already own your own home, we offer home improvement financing to help you maintain and improve your home. You can also refinance your loan through us and we'll make the closing costs part of the loan.
COMMERCIAL LENDING
Homeownership goes beyond just buying a home—it means buying into a community and everything that community has to offer like restaurants, childcare services, open space, etc. This is why we aim to support local entrepreneurs through commercial loans.
