Right after Labor Day I started noticing some stores getting ready for Christmas. We had Halloween and Christmas displays practically on the same isles so I started calling this Hallismas. Either way Halloween is all most  here and before long it will be time to start making the tinsel into “green”, money that is for all business owners.

The financial headlines tell us that the nation’s central bank, the Federal Reserve (the Fed), is winding down its “quantitative easing” program. This was an unconventional strategy designed to help boost the nation’s economic recovery following the deep recession that occurred between 2007 and 2009. Quantitative easing involved monthly purchases by the Fed of billions of dollars in government bonds.

Taco Bell opened its doors in the Hub City to record crowds on Sept. 10, 2014. The new fast food chain is located on Main Street between Sonic and Whataburger.
