Christmas Parade set for Dec 2nd

The 34th Annual Christmas Parade is Tuesday, December 2, 2014 through downtown Alice.
The Alice Chamber of Commerce/Convention Visitors Bureau and the City of Alice is proud to announce this year’s theme as “Once Upon A Time” and is the highlight of the “ALICE – A WONDERLAND OF LIGHTS” Christmas Celebration.
As I get ready to turn over the reigns of the Chamber Board to Nena Pitts, I want to reflect on the greatness that has occurred at the Chamber under my two-year term as Board President.
November is here and now I can say it’s time to get ready for the holidays. Right after Labor Day I started noticing some stores getting ready for Christmas. We had Halloween and Christmas displays practically on the same isles so I started calling this Hallismas. Either way Halloween is over and it’s time to start making the tinsel into “green”, money that is for all business owners.
