The Annual Lucien Flournoy Old Fashion Barbecue is set for Thursday, November 29, 2018 with Dr. Michael J. Sandroussi, Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend as its guest speaker.
Our Board of Directors have nominated five new members to the board beginning in 2019 and look forward to their acceptance in helping us build a better business community.
November is here and now I can say it’s time to get ready for the holidays. Right after Labor Day I started noticing some stores getting ready for Christmas. We had Halloween and Christmas displays practically on the same isles so I started calling this Hallismas. Either way Halloween is over and it’s time to start making the tinsel into “green”, money that is for all business owners.
It’s election time not just at the Courthouse but for the Alice Ambassadors as well. The Ambassadors reconvened on Monday for their monthly meeting to elect the 2019 officers.
