There are three things that every business should be doing in order to succeed – leaders need to look forward, be mindful of first impressions and acknowledge the presence to follow up with a thank you is what AEP Texas Director of Communications Frank Espinoza said during his speech at the 82nd Annual Chamber Banquet.
The 82nd Annual Alice Chamber of Commerce Banquet was a huge
success. A great deal of thanks go to the Chamber staff and committee
who organized the entire event.
Occasionally a small business owner is caught between the proverbial rock
and a hard place in regards to cash flow. Employees, vendors, suppliers and
utilities must be paid, yet your customer’s have decided to delay paying your
invoice until 30 - 60 - 90 days from now. Adding insult to injury, the bank
cancels your line of credit and asks for repayment.

These con artists take advantage of buzzy, emotionally-charged news stories to trick unsuspecting consumers into falling for a scam.
Johnny's Blooming Shop was named Small Business of the Year. The flower shop has been in business for 34 years and is owned by Johnny & Nora Perez.
Large Business of the Year
Wal-Mart #791 was named the Large Business of the Year. They have been in Alice since 1985 and is under the direction of Steven Donald.
Organization of the Year
The Beta Pi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was named Organization of the Year. The society is an all female retired educators organization.
Ambassador of the Year
Ofelia Hunter was named the Alice Ambassador of the Year.

Linda & Eugene Nash were this year's inductees into the Chamber Hall of Honor. The Both are very involved in civic organization and great contributors to our community
