Established in 1949, Altadena Beverage & Market has been a cornerstone of the North Allen Avenue community in Altadena, California. For over seven decades, our family-owned market has proudly served generations of residents, offering a curated selection of exceptional products.

Our shelves are also stocked with organic pantry staples, non-alcoholic beverages, and unique gifts, ensuring a comprehensive shopping experience.

In addition to our diverse product offerings, we take pride in our daily selection of fresh bread and host complimentary tastings from Thursday through Sunday, fostering a sense of community and shared appreciation for fine foods and drinks.

In 2021, we embraced a new chapter by acquiring Altadena Beverage & Market, reopening in January 2022 as a neighborhood specialty market. This milestone coincided with the 75th anniversary of the original establishment, marking a significant moment in our enduring legacy.

Our commitment to the community remains steadfast, even in the face of challenges. The Eaton fire in early 2025 caused significant damage to our store and the surrounding area, leading to temporary closure and displacement of several staff members. Despite these hardships, our dedication to serving Altadena is unwavering, and we are actively working towards reopening and continuing our tradition of excellence.
