About The Rusted Rooster
The Rusted Rooster
The Rusted Rooster emerged in 2012 when a charming building caught the eye of its founders, sparking the idea for a retail space selling handmade goods. In 2017, this concept evolved as a passionate conversation paved the way for combining coffee and culinary offerings. Partners Lissa Hackney, her family, and landlord Mitch Lyon share a mutual entrepreneurial spirit and a love for the small-town charm of Andover, Kansas.
The establishment exudes a welcoming ambiance, inviting patrons to enjoy distinctive cuisine and embrace the hometown atmosphere. Board games, puzzles, and a playhouse on the patio offer a chance to relish old-school pleasures. The Rusted Rooster extends a warm family welcome, built upon seven years of history. Encouraging support for local businesses, their motto encompasses a commitment to a local-centric lifestyle: "Save the World. Shop Local. Eat Local. Drink Local. Be Local."
