About Wichita's Littlest Heroes
Wichita's Littlest Heroes
Wichita's Littlest Heroes was established in 2014 by Brianna Coffey-Baskervilles, driven by her personal journey with her son Tristan's rare and life-threatening autoimmune disease. This organization was born out of the need for a supportive community specifically tailored to families grappling with childhood illnesses in Wichita, Kansas.
Tristan's story began with a sudden halt in walking and eating at age 4, leading to a life-altering diagnosis that required frequent hospital visits. Amidst the challenges of Tristan's condition, a heartwarming encounter between him and another young patient, Eagan, sparked the idea of Wichita's Littlest Heroes. This connection illuminated the power of shared understanding in adversity and inspired Brianna to create a space where families facing diverse medical battles could find solace and support.
At Wichita's Littlest Heroes, we believe that every child's battle is significant, and every family's journey matters. Our mission is to provide an environment where the challenges of childhood illness are met with unwavering compassion, camaraderie, and strength. Together, we create a community where even the littlest heroes can find hope, understanding, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
