Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls. Approximately 75,500 Soroptimists in 130 countries and territories support communitybased and global projects benefiting women and girls. The organization is particularly concerned with providing women and girls access to education, as this is the most effective path to self-sufficiency and realizing ones goals. The Azusa/Glendora club is a part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, one of the four federations of Soroptimist International. Soroptimist members help women and girls live their dreams each and every day

These words reflect our mission at Soroptimist International of Azusa/Glendora and we are dedicated to fulfilling the mission of Soroptimist that is, Soroptimist improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment in local communities and throughout the world.
