TEXAS FILM COMMISSION

Keri Goodwin

I attended the Texas Film Commission Workshop in Plainview yesterday. There are several steps required to become a “Certified Film Friendly Community.” These steps include:

Attend a Film Friendly Texas workshop hosted by the Texas Film Commission.

Pass administratively enforceable filming guidelines.

Submit photographs of area locations for inclusion in the Texas Film Commission locations database.

Please send suggestions of potential locations. I’ve started a list, but I welcome any and all suggestions!

EASTER EGG HUNT

Lori Higgins

I would like to extend my gratitude to First Bank Texas for the gold dollar coins, the Depot volunteers for stuffing eggs, the volunteers for hiding eggs, and the many individuals for donating eggs, candy, and goodies.  This year we had an estimated 6,000 Easter eggs for the kids to hunt!  I look forward to seeing all the kids back again next year!
