Gibson McDonald Grand Re-Opening/Open House/Ribbon Cutting

The Chamber of Commerce Members, Board and Staff had the pleasure of attending an open house/private social on Thursday night, June 18th and then the grand re-opening/ribbon cutting on Friday, June 19th of Gibson McDonald Furniture Company's beautifully, remodeled store.  There was a great crowd in attendance at both of these events and everyone had a great time.  If you have not had the opportunity, stop by and check out how the new store looks.

Independence Day Celebration

The 4th Annual Independence Day Celebration was held at Memorial Park on Friday, July 3rd.  It was a very hot day but a great time was had by all who attended as well as the vendors that were able to participate.  The kids and adults enjoyed the game truck and the entertainment was very good throughout the celebration.  The night was finished with a great fireworks show done by the City of Macclenny Fire Department and a movie in the park which was enjoyed by all.  Thanks again to all of the vendors that participated, to Baker County Medical Services for sponsoring the movie in the park, to Country Federal Credit Union and V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services for sponsoring the game truck, to Phantom Fireworks for sponsoring the fireworks, to all of the entertainers that took time out of their holiday weekend, to the Sheriff's Office Explorers for helping with parking for the event and to the City of Macclenny for all of their help with getting the park ready for the event, this would not have been possible without each and everyone of you.
