The Chamber of Commerce would like to wish the best of luck to all of the students, teachers and staff for the upcoming school year.

The 35th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30pm at Christian Fellowship Temple's Fellowship Hall located at 251 West Ohio Avenue in Macclenny.  Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 6:30-7pm with a sit down dinner as well as the program starting at 7pm with special guest speaker Casey Jones-Miracle on the Hudson Survivor, Casey has made over 200 presentations to a wide variety of audiences and has been featured in an "Assignment America" report on the CBS Evening News.  Entertainment will be provided by the Back Alley Cadillacs.  Cost is $25 for an individual ticket and $225 for a corporate table of 8.  Please RSVP by September 8 to (904) 259-6433 or email bjenks@bakerchamberfl.com or hsands@bakerchamberfl.com.  Thanks to the sponsors of this years banquet:  Country Federal Credit Union and NE Florida Community Hospice and to our speaker sponsor: NEFCOM

The Chamber of Commerce Staff is now CPR certified.  The staff along with a few other people were able to take the class with Phil from Northeast Florida State Hospital on Monday night August 10th.  Now we hope we never have to use this but it is always good to know how to do CPR in the event that it is needed.
