35th Annual Chamber Banquet



The 35th Annual Chamber of Commerce banquet was held on Tuesday, September 22nd and was well received by the 250+ guest in attendance.  After a great, catered meal provided by Hatcher Catering, Miracle on the Hudson Survivor Casey Jones, gave a wonderful key note speech about the Hudson River plane crash that changed his life and his mindset about living life.  Congrats to our award winners this year, Gibson McDonald Furniture and Sixth Street Veterinary Hospital-Business Appreciation and The Baker County Veterans Council-Community Service.  We would also like to give a special thanks to the sponsors of our banquet this year, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and Country Federal Credit Union and our speaker sponsor NEFCOM.  Most of all, we would like to thank each and everyone who attended this year making it such a huge success.

Trunk or Treat on Main Street



Trunk or Treat on Main Street will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 2-5pm at the Baker County Courthouse parking lot.  There will be lots of candy and a great time will be had by all.  If you or your business is interested in donating candy or decorating the truck of your vehicle and handing out candy, please contact the Chamber at (904) 259-6433.

Home Town Journal Open House/Ribbon Cutting



The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Open House/ Ribbon Cutting of the Home Town Journal's new location, which is located at 22 North Fifth Street in Macclenny, on Thursday, September 17th.  If you haven't had a chance to see the new office, please stop by and see Laurie and check out the new office.
