WOW, most of us do like discounts, don't we. If your business hasn't considered extending this offer to other Chamber members, you should think about it. If you have to go through a corporate office to do this, get on it. Some basic ideas are: a percentage off; buy one get one free; purchase something or use a service and get a gift card. No telling what a little discount or freebie might do for business.	Upcoming Golf Tournament The 21st Annual Golf Tournament will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at Quails Heights Country Club in Lake City. Registration will begin @ 8:30 and tee off @ 9:00 am. Continential breakfast will consist of coffee, muffins & danish and fruit. The tournament will be a shot gun start. Afterwards, lunch will be served, winners announced and prizes given out. Raffle winners will also be announced at that time. $50 per person; $350 corporate sponsorship which includes two players; $125 for hole sponsorship. Happenings in the Chamber >Business socials this year will be: first quarter - Baker County Historical Society; second quarter - Todd Ferreira Funeral Services; third quarter - Mercantile Bank and fourth quarter - Margaret Romeo DDS. >Some of our 2011 Lunch and Learns will be Tax Law Changes; Legislative Update (after session); Finances & Investing; Future of Business in Florida; Creating your Brand; and possibly a couple more. >The Annual Banquet will be held Tuesday, September 27 @ FBC Macclenny. Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting @ AAA Help Bailbonding We had a great time at the grand opening/ribbon cutting of AAA Help Bailbonding, Inc. Thursday, January 27th. Stop by and visit with Anthony James, the owner, in the Crockett Building, 19 West Macclenny Avenue. Visit with him just as a visit, not officially! Valentine's Reminder February is sweetheart month.
