Christmas Candy for the Christmas Parade

It is that time of the year for us to fill bags with candy to be given away by Santa after the Christmas Parade this year.  If you can donate candy or money to purchase candy, it would be greatly appreciated.  A thank you to all donating will be placed in the bag and in the paper the following week.  Any donation can be dropped off at the Chamber office or call us and we will pick it up.  We will need any donations by Monday, November 27.

37th Annual Chamber Banquet

The 37th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet was held on Tuesday, September 26th and was well received by the close to 220 guest in attendance.  After a great, catered meal provided by Hatcher Catering, Motivational Speaker, Patrick T. Grady, gave a wonderful key note speech to the crowd.  Congrats to our award winners this year, Blast Game Center and Insteel Wire Products-Business Appreciation and Myrtice Begue-Community Service.  We would also like to give a special thanks to the sponsors of our banquet this year, Community Hospice and Palliative Care, Country Federal Credit Union and Nefcom.  Most of all, we would like to thank each and everyone who attended this year making it such a huge success.

Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting

The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Meridian Behavioral Healthcare's new Baker County location on Friday, September 29.  There was a great crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it.  If you haven't been by to check out the new location, stop by and check it out.
