Independence Day Celebration

The 7th Annual Independence Day Celebration was held at Memorial Park on Saturday, June 30th.  It wasn't too hot of a day and a great time was had by all who attended as well as the vendors that were able to participate.  The kids and adults enjoyed the game truck and the entertainment was very good throughout the day.  The night was finished with a great fireworks show done by the City of Macclenny Fire Department and a movie in the park which was enjoyed by all.  Thanks again to all of the vendors that participated, to Baker County Medical Services for sponsoring the movie in the park, to Country Financial Credit Union and TD Bank for sponsoring the game truck, to Phantom Fireworks for sponsoring the fireworks, to Helen Powell and all of the entertainers that took time out of their holiday weekend, to the Sheriff's Office Explorers for helping with parking for the event, and to the City of Macclenny for all of their help with getting the park ready for the event, this would not have been possible without each and everyone of you.

Ribbon Cutting

The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Vision Loans on July 11.  There was a good crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it.  If you haven't been by to check out the new office, stop by and check it out.  They are located at 1183 South 6th Street in Macclenny.
