Independence Day Celebration

The 8th Annual Independence Day Celebration was held at Memorial Park on Saturday, June 29th.  It wasn't too hot of a day and a great time was had by all who attended as well as the vendors that were able to participate.  The kids and adults enjoyed the game truck and the entertainment was very good throughout the day.  The night was finished with a great fireworks show done by the City of Macclenny Fire Department.  Thanks again to all of the vendors that participated, to our sponsors for sponsoring the event: Fireworks Sponsor-Phantom Fireworks, Entertainment Sponsor-TD Bank, Old Glory Sponsors-Baker Prevention Coalition, Blackburn-Curry Funeral and Cremation, Crown Disposal & Hauling, Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital and Wells Insurance, Stars Sponsor-Kelly Klean and also thanks to Sharon Beavers and all of the entertainers that took time out of their weekend, and to the City of Macclenny for all of their help with getting the park ready for the event, this would not have been possible without each and everyone of you.

Lunch & Learn

A Lunch & Learn was held at the Chamber of Commerce Office on Thursday, July 18th.  There was a great crowd of around 30 businesses and individuals from the community in attendance. State Representative Chuck Brannan gave an informative update on the 2019 Legislative Session. We will let everyone know when we have another Lunch & Learn on the calendar.
