The Chamber of Commerce also had the pleasure of attending the Dedication Ceremony for the Law Enforcement Memorial on Thursday, September 19.  There was a great crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it. The memorial wall recognizes deputies from Baker County who lost their lives in the line of duty, Morris Fish and Rufus Thrift. The wall was made possible by the generosity of the local Veteran's Council. If you have a chance, stop by the Sheriff's Office and see this beautiful memorial.

39th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet

The 39th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet was held on Tuesday, September 24th and was well received by approximately 240 guest in attendance.  After a great, catered meal provided by Davoli's Catering, Speaker, David Essel, gave a great motivational speech to the crowd.  Congrats to our award winners this year, Rack Up Thrift Store-Business Appreciation and Baker Prevention Coalition-Community Service.  We would also like to give a special thanks to the sponsors of our banquet this year, Community Hospice and Palliative Care, Country Financial Credit Union and Island Oaks Resorts and to Raiford Road Church for allowing us to use their beautiful facilities.  Most of all, we would like to thank each and everyone who attended this year making it such a huge success.
