Finally Friday Networking Event


The next Finally Friday event is scheduled for November 8th at the Chamber of Commerce office.  Grow your network and expand your marketing team by participating in the Chamber of Commerce, fast paced networking breakfast called Finally Friday.  This networking event will be held in the Chamber Boardroom.  Every person present will be allotted time to tell everyone else about their business. Cost is $5.00 cash at the door for the event.  Breakfast will be available
 

Talk'o Tuesday Networking Event


Talk'o Tuesday Networking Event.  This is another networking event that has been added in addition to our Finally Friday Networking Event.  The first Talk'o Tuesday will be held on Tuesday, November 19th from 11:45am-1pm.  Grow your network and expand your marketing team by participating in the Chamber of Commerce, fast paced networking lunch called Talk'o Tuesday.  This networking event will be held in the Chamber Boardroom.  Every person present will be allotted time to tell everyone else about their business. Cost is $5.00 cash at the door for the event.  Lunch will be available

Christmas Candy for the Christmas Parade

It is that time of the year for us to fill bags with candy to be given away by Santa after the Christmas Parade this year.  If you can donate candy or money to purchase candy, it would be greatly appreciated.  A thank you to all donating will be placed in the bag and in the paper the following week.  Any donation can be dropped off at the Chamber office or call us and we will gladly pick it up.  We will need any donations by Monday, November 25. 

Lunch & Learn


The Chamber of Commerce hosted a Lunch & Learn at the Chamber office on Tuesday, October 22.  There was a great crowd in attendance.  The speakers were Crawford Powell with Impact Development Group and Eric Anderson with Enterprise Florida who spoke on "Economic Development in Baker County" and gave a great presentation to those in attendance.  Be on the lookout for when the next Chamber Lunch & Learn will be held.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Acreage Holdings



The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of being a part of the official groundbreaking ceremony for Acreage Holdings Sanderson Cultivation and Production Facility on Tuesday, October 29th.  At full build out Acreage will create more than 80 new jobs with an annual payroll of $3.5 million.  There was a great crowd in attendence, and the food catered by Woody's BBQ in Macclenny was excellent.  The Chamber was glad to be a part of the ceremony and looks forward to Acreage Holdings being a part of the community.
