Phantom Fireworks Ribbon Cutting

In preparation for one of their busiest times of the year Phantom Fireworks held a grand opening at their new store on Thursday, June 21st.  The owner of Phantom Fireworks, Bruce Zoldan, came from his home in Ohio for the event and did the honor of cutting the ribbon.

Independence Day Celebration

The first annual Independence Day Celebration for the county was held Saturday, June 30 at Memorial Park.  There were 33 vendors selling various types of food, drinks, sweets, crafts, produce, candles, jewelry, etc.  There was even a professional wrestler signing autographs and some folks, like our executive director, having pictures taken with him!!  Thanks to Phantom Fireworks and the Macclenny Fire Department for the fireworks display; to Josie Davis for the entertainment and to everyone who participated and/or attended.

We expect this event to growand be bigger and better each year.
