Golf Tournament - 3 Way Tie!

Our 23rd annual golf tournament was held Friday, April 19 at Bent Creek Golf Course.  The weather was perfect for the tournament and we ended the tournament with a 3 way tie. Management at Bent Creek had preselected holes to compare scores in the event a tie happened.

The winning team members were Darryl Register, Adam Giddens and Tim Starling. Second place team was CJ Thompson, Paul Hamilton, Edsel Smith and Josh Smith.

Thanks to all our corporate and hole sponsors and our volunteers; to American Enterprise Bank, our drink sponsor and Oldcastle Southern Group, our breakfast sponsor.  Also, many thanks to Walmart DC for providing a great lunch prepared by Fat Jacks BBQ.

Visitor's and Re-Location Guide

The Chamber has kicked off a new project to produce a Visitor's and Re-Location Guide for the county. The Guide will be printed as well as a digital version on our website. An updated county map, The Osceola Trail, the Battlefield, hiking and birding trails will be included in the Guide. This is a great advertising opportunity for all local businesses.  If you haven't been contacted and are interested in an ad in this exciting new Guide, please contact the Chamber at 259-6433.
