Glitz Glam & Goodies

Glitz Glam & Goodies will be held at the Ag Center on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.   Stuck on what to get your honey for Valentine's Day - attend this event and leave with your gift taken care of.  You can place your order for flowers, cupcakes or chocolate covered strawberries.  There will be a raffle for furniture, a patio set and a cruise!!  Yep, purchase a ticket and you might win a 4 or 5 day cruise to the Bahamas. 

Sponsorship opportunities for members are $200.  All sponsors receive recognition on our advertisements, programs, etc.  as well as a booth at the event. 

Vendor booths for members and non-members will be $25.  Members' rental fee will be refunded after the event if the booth is not canceled.  Each vendor is asked to provide a drawing at their booth.  

Admission to the event is free.

Fashion show will be presented by Classy Crossroads.  Entertainment throughout the event.

Dupont presents $5000 to Council on Aging


DuPont representatives, Shane Griffis and Connie Henderson, present COA Director, Jackie Wright and Christine Tyson with $5000 from the DuPont Community Fund. Ms Wright indicated that the funds would be used to aid the Meals on Wheels program at the Council on Aging.
