24th Annual Golf Tournament

The 24th Annual Golf Tournament was held Friday, April 25 at Bent Creek Golf Course. It was a gorgeous day and everyone had a great time. Congrats to the first place team of Bradley Stone, Jerrell Rodgers, Mason Sweat and Hunter Bell.  Thanks to our lunch sponsor, Haven Hospice; our flag sponsor, Burkins Chevrolet; our drink sponsor, American Enterprise Bank; thanks to all our corporate and hole sponsors and thanks to our players.

The Memory Man

We had a great time at our Lunch and Learn with The Memory Man, Dave Coffill.  Dave urged the group to continuously exercise our minds and memory by doing crosswords or other type puzzles. Dave had the group call out and write down a list of 15 items.  He later had us call out the number or the item, and he would either tell us the item or the number whichever one not called.

Ribbon Cutting for The Clair Winston House

Baker County now has an assisted living facility,The Clair Winston House.  The facility is now open and looking for residents.  The ribbon cutting was held Thursday, May 8.  We toured the cheery and friendly facility and enjoyed meeting  the owner, Stephanie Morales.  She is very excited about the facility and hopes to have her first residents soon.
