Going Green Commitments
- Developing program to recycle all used office papers. The program will start with document shredding of all papers throughout our facilities and them develop a program to gather all bags of shredded paper and deliver them to a centralized location for disbursment to a facility that handles the recycling of paper products.

Polk Works is a non-profit corporation that oversees the state and federal funds dedicated to preparing and upgrading a skilled workforce. The organization helps thousands of businesses find employees and remain leaders within their industry.
Polk Works is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the business and education community of Polk County. Business owners, executives and community leaders serving on the Board look at critical workforce issues and develop strategic planning goals and objectives. The strategic plan helps to engage the greater community in overall efforts to address performance of the following programs:
