About Us
SEMCO Construction, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Carl E. Locke, Sr. We are a State of Florida Certified General Contractor and a State of Florida Certified Roofing Contractor.
SEMCO has (5) divisions: Commercial, Industrial, Public, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, and Historic Preservation. Within these divisions, SEMCO provides construction services to the Phosphate Industry, Citrus Industry, Power Plants, School Boards, Municipal and County Governments, Universities, Airports, and various other industries.
Our approach to customer service is to Exceed the Expectations of our clients. We accomplish this by providing personal service from SEMCO's principles (Carl and Ed Locke), quality construction, continuous communication, and on-time within-budget projects.
Our philosophy that has proven our commitment to our clients is that, even after the "waranty" period has expired, if something is found defective as a result of SEMCO's work, we correct it. This corporate philosophy has resulted in many long-term clients who choose SEMCO for their construction needs over and over again.
