About Us

Being from the south, I have always had a love of Bar-B-Que.
In 2008, I was asked by a friend, Chris Parkerson (Big Times Cooking) to join his competition team and the infection began. Over the past few years, changes were made and the team members changed.
In late 2010, I decided to go out on my own with the full support of Chris, cooked at the Annual Bluegrass & Bar-B-Que in Bartow, Florida.
It was here that I decided a change was in order and purchased an enclosed trailer and a Stumps Smoker.
Now I have several annual sponsors to help support our team’s endeavor to compete and help communities raise funds through various bar-b-que competitions. To date we have competed and contributed to the Bartow High School Band 3 year; the Mulberry’s Boys Club 1 year; and have signed up for future events sanctioned by the Florida Bar B Que Association, the Georgia Bar B Que Association and the Kansas City Bar B Que Assocaition that contribute to non-profit organizations.
In 2011, I had the opportunity to meet William “Bubba” Latimer (Bub-Ba-Q) who is currently #1 in the Georgia teams and has appeared numerous times on Food Network and TLC. I was invited to learn from him and participate with his team at the recent Smoke on the Water competition in Winter Haven, Florida.
