Meet The Candidates,
Eat a Free Hotdog!

  Once again Bartow Political Rally will be offered as a free event to the public. Polk Politics, to be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will take place at the Bartow Civic Center.
  This year, the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce is also offering those attending a free hot dog! American Compliance Technologies Environmental & Infrastructure (A-C-T) is presenting sponsor.
  Local candidates from all over the county will be on hand to speak, answer questions and meet the public at the Rally.
  The Rally will afford voters an opportunity to participate in a straw vote, sponsored by ENGAGE Chamber Young Professionals, with the results announced at the conclusion of the evening.

Watson Clinic Announces May PEER Award Winner

Watson Clinic recognizes one outstanding employee every month as part of their Program for Employee Excellence and Recognition (PEER) award.  The PEER Award is given to a Clinic employee who best exemplifies the patient-focused customer service standards that Watson Clinic strives to excel at every day. The following employee was recognized for this current month:
Rachel Wright - May
Medical Assistant Rachel Wright has been with Watson Clinic for 14 years. She currently assists patients in the Family Medicine department at our Watson Clinic Highlands location. She has been called “the backbone of the department” because her co-workers rely on her experience and expertise in a variety of areas.
As PEER Award winner, Rachel received a plaque, dinner at a local restaurant, a reserved parking spot and a free service from the Medical Spa at Watson Clinic LLP to acknowledge her contributions to the organization.
