2019 ANNUAL MEETING: NEW PRESIDENT, PHIL MINDEN
The 2019 Annual Meeting for the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce took place last Saturday, and many say it was the "ONE OF THE BEST!" The event featured the Bartow High School Jazz Band under the leadership of BHS Band Director, Jon Eckman, as surprise entertainment kicking off the program. The band played New Orleans favorites to put everyone in the mood for the theme, "MARDI GRAS!"
2018 President, Mrs. Emily Spath Clark, took the stage and thanked all the volunteers, staff members and Board of Directors for their support. 2018 proved a very busy year, with 45 new member businesses joining, 12 ribbon-cuttings held, nine Business After Hours scheduled, one new staff member coming aboard, Kathryn Bevilacqua-Ely; and Mrs. Clark also noted that Chamber staff and Chamber Ambassadors personally visited more than 400 members of the Chamber.
