During the week of September 10th through September 15th 2012, cyclists from around the world will gather on SR305 outside of Battle Mountain, Nevada for the 13th consecutive year of racing on what is arguably the straightest, flattest, and smoothest road surface in the world.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the following companies for thier generous donation to the Chamber for our movie system. Barrick, Marigold, Newmont, Wells Fargo. Thank you to these Companies for investing in our community. The movie nights have been well attended, with each one gaining more attendance than the next. The movie nights have been held in Elquist Park , one night a month, all summer. Our last one will be on September 15 th,  and will be a "Drive-in" (in the dirt lot next to the BM High School). Mamma's Pizza will be sponsoring this movie. The movie nights are a free, family event.All our movies are Rated PG 13 or lower to insure the movies are viewable by all audiances. Please contact the Chamber of Commerce if your company would be interested in sponsoring a future movie night or advertising before the movie.
