Christmas Festival / Parade of Lights

The Family Resource Center and The Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for the Christmas Festival/ Parade of lights on December 8th. It all starts with Santa arriving at the Civic Center at 10:00 am .Lots of family fun is planned for the day. Bingo,singing, performances,vendors ect....

At 6 pm we will have the Parade of lights.Our theme this year for Parade entries is  "All I Want For Christmas Is....? " .         Parade starts at Etcheverrys Food Town goes down front street and turns on Broad Street and ends at the Civic Center, where we will roast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate until 8 pm.

On November 10 th the Annual Chukar Tournament and Feed:  This is an annual event with an all-day hunt for this amazing bird followed by a delicious evening banquet.  There are fun games and great prizes.  The entry fee includes dinner, event hat and shirt and a chance at winning the grand prize: a brand new UTV.

Colt

The Colt & Family Resource Center  are trying to collect a boatload of toys for less fortunate kids in our community for Christmas.  As you know we have the boat promotion going on now called "Reel 'Em In".  The boat is sitting inside the building.  All the toys we collect are being donated to the Family Resource Center for use in their Christmas Alert program. Donations accepted until Dec 15th,2012.
