This event is held to thank all of the hard working women in our students lives for all they do throughout the year to send their children to school prepared to learn.

Movies in the Park- Drive-Inn
BM Raceway Races | Movies in the ParkOur Movies in the Park are starting up again!!! Our first one is "The Amazing Spiderman" it will be on May 17th,Sponsored by CORE Construction. It will be a drive-in movie at the dirt lot next to the High School at dusk. Our June 21st movie Sponsored by Port of Subs will start our series in Elquist Park with movies continuing on July 19th and August 9th.The last movie of the season will be in September and will also be a drive-in. If you would like to sell concessions at this movie night please contact me at the Chamber. If your business is looking to advertise before the movie starts please call the Chamber to get your ad put into the power point presentation. Ads are due 7 days before each movie and must be in jpg format. Special pricing if your buy your ads for the whole season. Wine / Beerr Walk June 28th
It time to get signed up for the June 28 th Wine/Beer Walk !!! Call or email me if you would like to be a stop for the Wine Walk. Lets make this one the best one yet ! Let me know by June 1st what you will be serving as well as what specials you are having, so I can get them printed on the map. We are doing a little something different this year. We are asking each business to donate something . It could be a 20% off or buy one get one free coupon or a small something from your business. Then the businesses will stamp or punch each card as the people come and visit your business. When the participant has all the businesses on the map stamped they can turn it in at the end point (Mountain View Golf Course) to be entered for the raffles. This way we can make sure they come to every business. Only the maps that have every business stamped will be eligible for the raffles! Newmont has donated backpacks for our event so Participants have some place to carry all their purchases! Please note the meeting date change! We are having a meeting to discuss the Wine Walk on Monday May 9 th at 6 pm at the Golf Course. Southern Wine & Sprits and Worth are going to do tastings as well as discuss all the fun things you can do to increase your sales during the event.Please plan on attending this info night or send your manager to represent your business. If you are not able to attend, I will visit or call each of the Business that are signed up for the Wine/Beer Walk to talk about some things you can do to make this a Great Shop Local Event!!! We had a good response to the Quarterly Business after Hours. A BIG Thank You to all the businesses who participated. Remember every time you attend a Business After Hours we will add your business card to the end of the year raffle, so you could have 4 chances to win the Raffle prize at the January drawing. A special THANK YOU goes out to M-I Swaco for providing the Food & Wine and L.C. Convention & Tourism for letting us use the Civic Center. I want to also Thank Farmers Insurance & Moore,L.C, Convention & Tourism and Western States Propane for their donations to our raffles during the evening.
