Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet
Our Chamber Banquet will be on January 23rd.We use this to install our recently voted in Board members as well as an opportunity to get together for a nice dinner out. We have an "Exciting " speaker lined up this year that you won't want to miss. We are also doing Silent Auctions for various items throughout the night.Come join us at the Civic Center on January 23rd at 6:00pn and support "Your Chamber of Commerce"!
We will start selling tickets November 15th. Stop by the Chamber office Monday - Friday 9 am to 4 pm to purchase your tickets or contact any board member to purchase them.

Grand Opening

Shop Local for the Holidays Cookie Walk
This year in combination with the Community Christmas Celebration at the Civic Center and the St John Bosco Church Bazaar, the Chamber of Commerce will be doing a "Shop local for the Holidays Cookie Walk". Businesses can sign up to be on the map and become an official stop!
As a business what do I have to do?
Each participating business will hand out cookies to the participants, while they shop locally on Saturday December 7th from 10 am to 3 pm. 
What can I do do make this a successful shopping day for my business ?
Make sure you or you employees are at hand to direct them to your sale items or gift certificates. 
Make your stop the best on the route!
Get into the holiday shopping spirit by maybe having your employee's dress up, or do some fun activity while they in your store.
Call the Chamber if you need help with idea's.That's what we are here for! To make your business as successful as we can!
 

Parade of Lights
Our Parade of lights will be on December 7 th at 6:00 pm. We start line up at Etcheverry's Food Town at 5:15 pm and at 6:00 pm we continue down to Front  Street then onto Broad Street to end at the Civic Center.We will have an announcer at the Owl Club playing holiday music and describing each float as it passes by.
Our Parade Theme this Year is  "An Old Fashioned Christmas "
Last year the Chamber bought a very IMPRESSIVE trophey for the business who had the best float! It has been housed at Royal Ace Hardware this year with thier name proudly etched into it for 2012. They are already gearing up for this years parade of lights in the hopes of winning it again!
I encourage all Business members to get into the spirit and enter a float so they have lots of competition in this years Parade! Not only is it a fun competiton between business members but lots of fun for our communtiy who come out in droves to watch it!
