The Chamber Banquet will be held on Thursday January 23rd at the Civic Center.
Drinks start at 6:00 pm. Our Guest speaker will be Dr. John Peters. If you have never heard him speak this is one night you won't want to miss!!!!!!!!
 We will also have several  door prizes, one of them being an IPad Mini,donated by BM General Hospital. We have also asked Sheldon Mudd to be our auctioneer for our great auction items,one of them being Gold Splatter that has been donated by Newmont Mining. We will also have Silent Dessert auctions.

Tickets are $30 per person or you can reserve a table for 8 for $240 for your friends or employees.Please call the Chamber or speak with any board member if you are interested in donating an item for our raffle,your Company will be recognized.

 Community Christmas Festivities
 
On Saturday December 7th, The Family Resource Center, St. John Bosco, Battle Mountain Chamber of Commerce, along with its members celebrated the Christmas Season by hosting The Community Christmas Celebration/Shop Local for the Holidays. It all started with the Chamber Cookie Walk that went form 10 am to 2 pm. There were 23 local businesses who signed up to be a stop on the map. Despite the snow and cold day, we had over 60 brave souls who participated in this fun, family event.
 Aubrie Schmidt was the happy winner of our Shop Local Basket (worth over $600), donated by the Local participating businesses.
Our community members enjoyed all of the festivities going on during the day, ranging from visits & pictures with Santa to shopping at all of the booths that were set up at the Civic Center and ST. John Bosco.
At 6:00 pm, 20 entries for the Chamber of Commerce Parade of lights all lined up at Etcheverrys Food Town to start the parade. Disk Jockey Connection, set up in Reese River Outfitters, played the music and announced the parade as it went down Front Street and turned onto Broad to end at the Civic Center. The Family Resource Center crew was waiting there ready to make hot chocolate and roast marshmallows to end the evening. Our Chamber Parade of Lights winners were 1st place, Royal Hardware, 2nd
Place Prowest Engineering and 3rd Place was awarded to First Baptist Church.
