These certified and well trained teachers are experienced, child oriented professionals committed to growing expertise. All are highly qualified whose instructional expertise focuses on Reading and Writing instruction, Mathematics instruction, Special Education, and early childhood expertise.
Visions Unlimited Academy has begun its twelfth school year in Benson, Arizona . The staff at Visions has a powerful set of unifying values: deep appreciation of teaching strategies that tap in on how students learn, firm belief in the value of parents and the individual child and high professional standards. Visions staff members are partners with parents to guide children toward greater understanding of themselves and their capacity and toward meaningful academic achievement. We believe learning starts with an understanding of the student and spend time learning the student needs and incorporating them into academic, social and even sensory learning experiences.
As a no cost to the student Charter School, Visions Unlimited Academy is open to all who apply restricted only by enrollment capacity numbers. We will never have a class over 22 students but currently have a waiting list in two or four multiage classrooms. Enrollment for next year is open and the school is accepting registrations. If you are looking for a partner to support you in your child raising goals, please call us at 520-586-8691. It is a good, caring place for children to learn.
Visions Unlimited Academy Teachers, Ashley Montano, Marie Caneletti, Joy Yakovlev and Andrea Groff are deeply committed to supporting learning guiding meaningful experiences using Workshop approaches to teach the Arizona Academic Standards. You can find the curriculum maps that guide our classroom instruction on our our Academic Focus page. Our paraprofessionals-Gretchen Zibart, Sarah Meisner, Travis Fisk, Tabitha Groleau, Jan Nelson and Jamie Sue Housley work closely with the teachers to support learning of special needs students. Rocio Cornejo keeps the place home kitchen clean and Javier Macias takes pride in grooming the grounds.
The purpose of this letter is to publically thank our parents and students for their enduring support, to acknowledge the efforts of the staff and invite the public to look into Visions Unlimited Academy as a "Smart Choice for Education". Please accept this expression of gratitude and know that the opportunity for a choice in education still exists. We have a few openings for students and will are looking forward to talking with you about your child's needs.
