To Our Ambassadors

Najayyah Many Horses

I would like to take this opportunity to both congratulate and thank our Ambassadors for the great Chamber Mixer that was held at White Buffalo.  It really was a lot of fun.

Our Condolences to our Ambassador Lydia Wilson who lost her mother during the time we were preparing for the Mixer.  Even though she was about to leave town, she made sure we had deliciously decorated cupcakes for the event.  That is the type of dedication our Ambassadors have for our businesses and community.

Thank You.

Our Numbers Are Increasing

Linda Stacy, our newest Chamber   member, said it best when asked   why she joined the Chamber. She   started out by saying she just     thought it was about time and the   right thing to do.  She noted that she   could see how the Chamber was   changing and she wanted to be a   part of it. It was important to her that   the San Pedro River Arts Council   and  the Endeavor Gallery be able to   network with other businesses and   the people in the community.

The next time someone asks, "why should I join the Chamber?"  I will definitely reply, "Because it's the right thing to do." Being a part of the Chamber is not only for your business but for your community.  I am amazed at the calls that come into the Chamber; people wanting to know "What is there to do in Benson?"  When they look at our site and see the many businesses and varied types of services offered, people know they are coming to a town that invests in itself.  People love small towns.  But most of all people love small towns that have a lot to offer without having to trek to the big city for fun and entertainment.  Benson might seem like a sleepy town, but there is definitely a lot to do here if you just look. Join the Chamber and let our visitors see what we are all about.

We thank all of our members for being a part of the Chamber and for supporting Chamber events.  We are changing and have every intention of raising the bar.  Thanks to Doug Quarles we have earned the title of The Largest Mural City. Let's not stop there.  Why not be known as the small town that's big on hospitality?

What will you do to change the face of Benson for the best?
