August 2012-3 Anniversaries
Blazing Into The Future While Embracing The Past

Joined The Chamber Anniversaries

Lupe Diaz

Last Thursday on August 16th the Chamber had its monthly breakfast. We acknowledged and celebrated "Joined The Chamber Anniversary Month" with those who were present.  This is something we will do at every month at our monthly breakfast. There were smiles as hands went up for those that were there.

At your anniversary month we will call you to update your information. That is something that I am doing with the membership now as it has not been done for awhile. This also the time where you can tell us if you are renewing and how we are doing at serving  you. We support all of our members in good standing and this is one way to know who is standing.

This is important It to us because it is through our membership that the Chamber is able to accomplish its goals and find new ways to help the overall business community. We not only cover the local area but we cover the Southeastern Arizona region. We represent businesses in four counties and some who are out of state.

When you patronize these businesses take time to congratulate them as they celebrate their "Joined The Chamber Anniversary Month".  Here is the list of the businesses that joined in August.

Remember, you have a free website available to you through your membership. You also have the ability to tell the other members about your specials and create your coupons to offer your customers or clientele. Visit the Chamber website at www.bensonchamberaz.com login and look around it will suprise you what is available to you.

You also have a Chamber membership that serves the overall business community. For example, we are involved in the City bill board project. They asked for the Chambers thoughts about what should go on the  bill boards. There will be more to say about that in an upcomming newsletter. Did you know that there are about 30,000 vehicles that go by Benson every day on I-10? I see this as an effort from the City to help our community and for us to share what we know about marketing.
