About Us

Serenity was never meant to be merely a company name, but rather an overall awareness. My goal is to provide each and every individual with a complete experience not found anywhere else. This vision began many years ago when, as a young Vietnam army pilot, I started my career in the Hawaiian Islands. While working for a large tour company I began to understand that the “ride itself” needed to become a portion of a much larger experience. This concept became the driving force behind my passion to create first Air Maui, and now Serenity Helicopters. It is my core belief that to be able to deliver the finest level of service possible, a company needs to remain intimate.

We have owned and operated Air Maui, located in Hawaii, for over 25 years. Our success and FLAWLESS SAFETY RECORD set the standards for the rest of the industry. We employ experienced, knowledgeable tour pilots of the highest caliber. Simply flying the helicopter isn’t enough; pilots must be skilled caretakers of both your safety and enjoyment. My entire staff is simply the very best at what they do.

It is based on this success that Serenity was born. Joining the Las Vegas market is simply the next chapter in the story. My wife, Debra, having lived and worked in Las Vegas for 25 years, lends a unique perspective on both the logistics of the region, and the Las Vegas clientele. Upon entering our new chic upscale facility, Serenity’s individuality has become evident. We have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which to begin your journey. While eagerly awaiting your departure, you may enjoy a cappuccino or cold beverage while browsing through our retail shop. Come let us create an intimate experience in a class by itself.

Our Pilots
Serenity Helicopters prides itself on hiring only the best and most experienced pilots, the best in the profession. Every pilot has passed the FAAs required courses and are certified tour guides. Each is hand-picked by the owner, Steve Egger, himself a Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot with over twenty five years experience. This is why we also like to say that our pilots are battle tested and time tested, because so many are military trained, decorated veterans.
