Employment Security Advisory Council recommends increase in UI taxes.....
Last week, the Employment Security Division's Advisory Council had their annual meeting to hear testimony on the health of the State's unemployment insurance system and then recommend any changes to the average UI tax rate. While it is clear Nevada is recovering from the recession perhaps even faster that the ESC economists predicted, we still have a ways to go before we reach pre-recession UI trust fund solvency levels.
