Census Link

I found a link to the 2010 Census that I found very valuable as we consider new markets to reach out to in our advertising efforts.  Just thought you might like to view it too.

Informal Survey

We recently learned of an opportunity for the Chamber to host an off-site informational kiosk that we would not only stock with literature and have a volunteer present at, but possibly could allow each member to take a day to share the kiosk and market their company.  The location is in a highly visable venue, and would provide not only local traffic, but tourists also.  More details would be available in the future.  We are just exploring this opportunity at this time.

If this might be something you'd consider, please reply back to this E-Letter with a simple "interested in the kiosk" in the subject line.  We'll compile a list of those interested, weigh the benefits and then inform the membership if we move forward on this program.

Chamber MEGA Raffle

For those attending the Chamber's Installation and Awards dinner last week, you are fully aware of the new fundraiser the Chamber has implemented.  If not, let me share!!

The MEGA Raffle is for an amazing 7-day, all expense paid houseboat trip out of Cottonwood Cove Resort.

Our newest Platinum Corporate Partner, Forever Resorts, has graciously arranged for the Silver Millenium houseboat (cottonwoodcoveresort.com/rentals/70SilverMillennium) that has 4 bedrooms, a ton of flat screen TVs, a water slide, hot tub, gourmet kitchen, wet bar, 2 bathrooms and MEGA space for MEGA fun!!

What a great family reunion option, corporate retreat, team building opportunity, or one awesome way to get away from it all for a simply peaceful week on tranquil waters.

The Chamber will be throwing in a $500 gift card for fuel for the houseboat.  So all you need is food, clothes (but not many) and friends to go along.  Make your selection of roommates and get them each to buy in on a 3-pack of tickets.  That way, you'll increase your odds of getting to go, and everyone fairly pitches in on the donation to the Chamber.

Only 500 tickets will be sold, so be sure to get in on this quickly.  Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office, or from anyone of the Board Members.  The drawing will take place on July 13th at 5:30pm during the next Mixer at the Chamber Office-outside on the patio.  If you can not make the drawing event, no worries, you do not need to be present to win.

So help the Chamber and sell tickets to all your friends and family, even those from out of town that will want to be a part of our family trip on the water.  What a great way to get to visit with those that are not as close and are looking for a great way to vacation in our area.

Click on the picture of the flyer with this article to get more information or to pass along to a friend!  Click on the embeded You Tube video to see yourself living on the water for a blissful week!
