We are so excited for the next launch of our Association Health Plans specifically tailored for our working owner businesses! These plans cover a majority of our businesses here in Boulder City so if you thought you didn't qualify at the last launch in August, you will want to come to this special mixer on December 17. These plans cover small businesses with 1-50 employees, 1099 and sole proprietor business owners. We will have business leaders from United Healthcare here to speak to the insurance program as a whole. Feel free and bring a business owner friend and enjoy great networking, appetizers and a ton of information to help save you and your business money in the healthcare arena!

UNLV Center for Business Econcomic Research Quarterly Survey

The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is conducting its quarterly survey on business conditions in southern Nevada.  We are seeking your thoughts about the first quarter of 2019. Your answers help to provide insight to UNLV about the economic outlook in southern Nevada. Results of the survey will be sent later in first quarter 2019. Link to survey here.

  • Massage by Dawn is hosting a food and personal hygiene products drive for Emergency Aid. For items donated, receive a dollar amount off of your service. Check out her website for more details on the services she offers and how to book your appointment.
  • AteamBC is hosting a golf tournament at Cascata on February 25, 2019 to raise funds to help functionally illiterate youth improve their reading skills. For more information on the tournament and registering your team, email Diane Burningham at diane@ateambc.org.

  • Brian Ewells' office of Edward Jones is collecting Toys for Tots through December 13th. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Brand new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at 1000 Nevada Way Suite 102 behind Nevada State Bank.
  • Rail Explorers USA is back! They are launching January 5 through April and are offering a new Nevada Locals Discount of 15%! The tour is approximately 2 hours and is a great way to experience the outdoors and get some exercise! Check out their website at www.railexplorers.net for more information and to book your ride!

Have an event you want featured on the community Chamber calendar? Submit it! You can submit specials, sales, special open hours, events, whatever your business is doing that might need a little extra exposure. It's free and all self-service.

We also are setting up Chamber specific events on our Facebook page which allows you to share it with your friends or colleagues, get notifications real time of events, activities and changes to any Chamber business event. If you're business is on social media, please give our page a 'like' so we can tag your business when we share your social posts. This way your original post funnels back to your page where you can engage a broader audience!
